Privacy & Safety Notice

Privacy matters here. This site exists to host thinking, diarying, and communication — not to harvest data or sell you things. Any personal information you share is used solely to stay in touch when you initiate contact. Nothing esoteric or extractive happens behind the scenes.

Some technical data is collected automatically — such as browser type, device information, or IP address — purely for practical reasons: keeping the site running, preventing misuse, and maintaining security.

All handling of such data follows UK data protection law (including the UK GDPR) and applicable international standards. Details are stored only as long as necessary for functionality and safety.

There are clear boundaries. Information will not be shared with third parties, and never sold to marketers. The only exception would be a serious concern for safety — for example, if there were a clear, imminent risk of harm to yourself or others. This is a duty of care, not surveillance; think Goffman’s distinction between interactional dignity and institutional obligation.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. Just ask — transparency is part of the practice.

Content & Wellbeing

Cumulative self-talk works best when it’s steady, not frantic. I learned that firsthand: under pressure, I rushed the process and burned out. Treat it as a long-term craft, not crisis management. Write, speak, reflect — then shape what follows over weeks and months. Keep sessions short, pause when your focus fades, and make room for rest, movement, and daily life.

If emotions surge, note them and step back; your future self can return with distance. This is an artistic and educational practice, not clinical care. If you’re struggling, use local services or reach out to someone you trust. Done patiently, cumulative diarying brings clarity, eases stress, and produces honest work — without grinding you down. Don’t forget to rest.

This space explores ideas of communication, consciousness, and experience, sometimes touching on mental health. It is not a clinical service. If you’re in distress, use this page as a signpost, not a solution: contact your GP, local crisis services, or trusted support networks.

If you’re in the UK, call NHS 111 for guidance, or explore Helplines Partnership’s  'Find a Helpline'.
If you’re having suicidal thoughts, call Samaritansand complete a Safety Plan.

Contact

Questions or concerns about your data or safety are welcome. Email me directly — conversations here should feel respectful, safe, and human, more artisanal than algorithmic.

The ethos: communication with care, privacy with integrity, and refusing to collapse the personal into the commercial. From here, thinking and dialogue continue on human terms.
